GENERAL

The high specification Rivendale Lodge made by Pemberton, is one of their most acclaimed premium lodges and can sleep 6 people. This 2015 model is the special extended version being 44 x 20ft, which means it includes the really useful utility/laundry room and creates a super spacious master bedroom. With painstaking detailing throughout, the Rivendale exudes quality, sophistication and luxury.

It has double-glazed floor to ceiling windows and doors throughout, including 4 sets of sliding patio doors in the kitchen, lounge, snug and master bedroom, creating a truly panoramic home that lets the outside in.

Has full gas combi central heating and tall, designer radiators with thermostatic valves that really pump out the heat, making it warm and comfortable even through the winter, enabling you to make full use of the 50 weeks per year that the Park is open.

The lodge is in an immaculate condition and has only been used as a private holiday home on weekends by non-smokers, without pets.

Owners are reluctantly leaving this natural haven, moving to NZ to be with family.

INTERIOR

On entering via the main door, you are immediately struck by the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen with its timber beam feature delineating the walls and ceilings. Floor to ceiling windows and optimised ceiling height allow light to pour in and give the whole home a feel of spaciousness.

LOUNGE

The sumptuous décor in the main lounge is a sophisticated combination of pale greys and creams with accents of blue picked up in the curtains, roman blinds and scatter cushions. Plenty of floor to ceiling windows together with the sliding patio doors allow light to flood in. There is an electric fireplace that provides a cosy fire effect perfect for winter evenings. Includes a large mirror, a picture, two large, deep, plush sofas, a large ottoman with storage inside, and a TV point with wall fittings for a large flat panel TV (not included).

The patio doors open onto a large wrap around deck, ideal for relaxing and entertaining. The decking is spacious, low maintenance and fully secure making it also an ideal area for children and pets alike. South facing, with frameless glass which creates a stunning infinity view, maximising the enjoyment of all the wildlife action on the lake and the beautiful sunsets. Whether viewed from within the lodge or from the deck, the effect is like being on the lake itself – amazing!

SNUG

Adjoining the lounge, is the ‘snug’, a lounge/conservatory area with its own sofa bed, and comfy tub chair. Includes a TV point and large picture. A velux sky-light lets in plenty of natural light and provides extra ventilation in hot weather. This area is an extension of the already generous sized lounge, but can be closed off with bi-fold doors to create a third bedroom, an office or a tranquil reading room.

It has a sliding patio door giving access to the front deck and a direct view onto the lake. It also has floor to ceiling side windows with a continuing view of the lake, as well as onto a charming garden area maintained by the neighbours who stock a whole series of bird feeders. These attract a beautiful variety of birdlife that can be observed at close quarters from the comfort of the settee.

KITCHEN/DINER

A stylish glass topped dining table with comfortable high back chairs sits conveniently next to a generous island unit, with storage under. The high quality kitchen is sleek and practical and is laid out in a large L-shape with American style fridge freezer, built-in microwave oven, dishwasher, sink, gas oven/grill and 5 burner hob with extractor. Kitchen units are white with panelled doors and there are plenty of glass fronted storage cupboards and open shelves. The whole kitchen is finished with composite timber effect worktops. A very attractive but also functional space in which to relax as well as prepare food, while keeping an eye on guests in the lounge as well as on all the wildlife action on the lake. Those who love to entertain will be proud to do so in this home.

UTILITY/LAUNDRY ROOM

This adjoins the kitchen and has a glazed door that gives direct access from the side deck. It features floor to ceiling shelving, a boiler cupboard with good access for servicing, a sink/drainer and built-in washer/drier, as well as a velux sky-light.

A central doorway onto a short corridor, gives access to the sleeping accommodation.

TWIN BEDROOM

On the left is the second bedroom with twin beds and bedside tables with drawers, a TV point, and a built-in dressing table and wardrobes combination along with a high backed chair. Floor to ceiling windows provide plenty of light and a view onto the lovely neighbouring garden. This cosy room is elegantly decorated in shades of purple and two-tone grey that feature on the statement headboard, scatter cushions, curtains and throws. The effect is tasteful and luxurious. BATHROOM

Next to the twin bedroom, is the bright and roomy main bathroom which features a full-length bath/shower with glass shower screen, toilet, extractor, heated towel rail, ceramic hand basin with storage under and mirrored cupboards above.

MASTER BEDROOM & ENSUITE

A huge, impeccably well appointed space, with a king size double bed, bedside tables with drawers and a high backed chair. A series of tall built-in cupboards, provide an abundance of storage. There is a TV aerial point and fittings for a wall mounted TV. Again stylishly decorated in elegant tones that coordinate the opulent headboard, scatter cushions, curtains and throws. Also included, but not shown – two decorative pictures and a large mirror.

A walk through closet area leads to the generously sized ensuite shower room, with large walk-in shower, ceramic wash basin with storage under, mirror and cupboards over, WC, heated towel rail and extractor.
