One of our smaller, quieter parks where it is all about the location, it's a perfect place to unwind whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. The facilities enhance the relaxed and informal atmosphere on this delightful Essex park; a cosy family bar and entertainment venue is complemented with a traditional seaside café, ideal for a cup of tea and slice of cake, with a stroll along the seafront afterwards.

From our beach, owners and their guests can enjoy views of the nearby Blackwater Estuary (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) and this area of coastline is renowned for its rich fishing, and regular hauls of fresh oysters! Seafood-loving palettes are perfectly catered for by the range of specialist restaurants nearby.

Watersports fans will also be in their element. The nearby sea and breezy conditions are perfect for sailing and boating, windsurfing and kite surfing. The seafront is lined by colourful beach huts, a scenic backdrop to a picturesque coastline stroll.

The surrounding Essex area promises plenty of gems to uncover. Visit the historic market town of Colchester (the first Roman-founded city in England) with its multitude of famous landmarks or view the many species of animal at the award-winning zoo. Clacton-on-Sea is also close by, and for a traditional old-school seaside day out it’s impossible to beat! Don’t worry too much about bringing an umbrella either, Essex is one of the driest counties in the UK – it’s not labelled “The Sunshine Coast” for nothing!
