The annual NEC Motorhome and Caravan Show proved to be more popular than ever this year by breaking its own attendance record. The large number of visitors is thought to have set the precedent for future such events, with this latest success of the UK’s biggest caravan show seen as a great result for the industry.
The show that displays all the very latest motorhome and static caravan models from over 400 companies and manufacturers took place across 11 halls and drew a record 100,179 visitors. Held over five days between the 15th and 20th October, the show proved to be bigger and more spectacular than ever, which was reflected in the number of people who came along.
There were various celebrity appearances during the event, with the likes of TV presenter Melanie Sykes and celebrated chef Ed Baines both providing entertainment; visitors were also enthralled by the wide number of displays and attractions to take advantage of. With exhibitions showing everything from motorhome van conversions to static caravans for sale in parks across the country, there was no end to the diverse sights on offer.
